2025 Intentional Shopping Guide
Products impact our health, and wallet, in big ways
Not all products are created equal. And price isn’t always the indicator for quality. In recapping the year, we wanted to feature items from our shopping list that we used and will continue to use during 2025. We are also featuring items that we want to use.
This is not an exhaustive list rather it contains some of the items that we use on a regular basis, supplements and vitamins that have been a game-changer for our health, and less than evil snacks that while still fast and convenient are better than the less healthy alternative.
There is a real balance between our convenience, time, health and overall wellness. If you would like to see more, visit our page on Linktr.ee/simplydished for the complete list of items that you can find on Amazon. They have helped us, so they might help you. Without further commentary, here are some of the items that we’ve enjoyed.
Please note: this is not a paid endorsement; however as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Please enjoy and stay healthy.
Supplements make a big difference on your health and performance
It feels great when your body is primed to take advantage of your workouts. Seeing improvement helps motivate you to continue.
Research indicates that healthy men and women need between 30 and 40 grams per protein 3 times daily. If you add in workout sessions, in order to maintain a healthy weight and lean muscle, protein powder are a great supplement.
Here are some of our favorite whey and plant-based proteins, collagen peptides and creatine.
Not all Vitamins are created equal
Vitamins don’t replace eating a healthy, balanced diet of whole foods. However, they have become a more necessary component in life to supplement areas where your body might have a deficiency. Here are a few of the vitamins we use daily to support our health.
Some of our Favorite books from Audible
Reading is good for the brain. And we make it a habit to read daily from real books. Audible, however, holds a special place in our process of gathering information.
Audible allows for you to digest a book while outdoors. We find that listening to a book while engaging in an activity outdoors, such as walking the dog or doing yard work is a great way to listen to a book.
Another valuable benefit to listening is that, when read by the author, you have an intimate opportunity to learn first-hand from the author. Here are some of our favorites.
Better snacks that are less bad for you
Just like Everybody Loves Raymond, everybody loves snacks. Here are some of our favorite clean snacks that we keep in the pantry.
